my learnings:

1st quarter - HTML
2nd quarter - doing the flowcharts for programming
3rd quarter - programming using devc
4th quarter - making handicrafts like frames, artificial butterflies
and artificial orchids and blogging.

Doing the orchid wasn't really difficult. I was just too lazy to do it so i had a hard time. oh well. haha. In making the orchid, I learned to be patient but not creative. :))

my favorite movie.^^

The movie is starred by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls.

Samantha (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is in love with her boyfriend, unfortunately he doesn't pay any attention to her. She is living in London attending school there to be with him. She is a music student and aspiring singer/songwriter. Ian (Paul Nicholls) is wrapped up in his job and is taking her "for Granted". A twist of fate occurs and makes him realize what he has. After Samantha (Hewitt), dies in an accident shortly after they had a fight (and nearly broke up), Ian Wyndham (Nicholls), gets a chance to relive the day all over again, in the hope of changing the events that led up to her getting killed..

I chose this movie because it has a really nice story, great performances by the artists and the movie made me cry. The story of the teleserye Sana Maulit Muli showed in Abs-cbn was even based on this movie.

The part where Ian got the chance to relive the day all over again struck me the most because he did everything to show Samantha how much he loves her, trying to change the things that should have happened.

I learned from the movie that we should live our lives to the fullest and love the people that value us because it's not everyday that we are given second chances. I also learned that we should not take for granted the people who loves us because we might regret losing them in our lives. We realize how much we love a person when they're gone.

FAMILY DAY 2008

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School celebrated their Family Day last February 24, 2008. The theme of this year's family day is "Families celebrating a Tradition of Companionship".

The affair started with a bustling motorcade from the Ateneo main campus at La Purisima to the William H. Kreutz Campus at Tumaga. A mass celebrated by Fr. Antonio Moreno, president of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, welcomed the families.

Everyone was invited to join the different games and activities prepared by the teachers and staff of the high school. There were intermission numbers by selected high school students.

Rain started to fall and the day ended with a blasting fireworks. It definitely was a day filled with fun and memorable bonding moments with the families.

I see a picture in black and white
I can't see any colors wrapped
I try to read these lifeless words
But they're empty.

Not until this great man came
Who placed colors in the rain
He may have done a marvelous thing
The problem is, he made some lives complicating.

But even though we suffered in a way,
He gave more meaning and colors in the net.
He made our sites fun by designing it
with our favorite colors,
BLUE, YELLOW and GREEN.
